WPI Certification: Certified Agile Project Manager
Ever shorter development cycles require new, more flexible methods to drive projects forward. Modern, agile project methods support this in particular: the agile process model Scrum simplifies complex processes and structures by implementing requirements iteratively in short work cycles (sprints). This approach has the advantage of being able to react flexibly and quickly to possible changes during the course of the project. The agile management method OKR (Objectives and Key Results) eliminates the frequent gap between the strategic and operational levels and ensures that the company can achieve its strategic goals. It is only through the combination of Scrum and OKR that a company becomes truly agile and thus increases its competitiveness.
In addition to the agile methods OKR and Scrum, this certificate course also focuses on teaching the most important skills of classic project management. It thus provides you with a toolbox to apply the optimal methodology for project and company success in different companies and markets.
After completing the Certified Agile Project Manager course, you'll be, among other things, able to:
apply agile methods and tools such as Scrum and OKR in practice to simplify complex processes, react flexibly to changes and achieve the company's strategic goals
apply Scrum and OKR in practice to simplify complex processes and structures and react quickly to changes
understand the fundamentals of Scrum and OKR, including the roles, events, artifacts, epics, user stories, objectives and key results
apply Scrum and OKR practices, e.g. define Scrum goals (sprint goals), write user stories and use OKR to strategically align an organization
The following modules of the WPI Curriculum are required for this certification:Â
This module teaches you the fundamentals of project management. You will learn to plan, execute, and monitor projects effectively, using both traditional and agile methodologies.
This module introduces the Scrum framework, a popular agile methodology for managing projects. You will learn Scrum roles, ceremonies, and practices to deliver high-quality products efficiently.
This module teaches you how to use OKRs to set ambitious goals, track progress, and drive organizational success. You will learn to define clear objectives, measure key results, and align teams to achieve strategic goals.
This certificate course has a workload of approximately 64 hours. The workload includes the total amount of time that course participants have to successfully complete the course.
The workload is an average value calculated by the Web Professional Institute (WPI). The actual workload in a course offered by a training center may differ from the average value stated here depending on the delivery method of the course (e.g. online or face-to-face) and the target group.

At the end of the Agile Project Management with OKR and Scrum certificate course, all successful participants who have completed the theoretical and practical assessments will obtain the WPI Certified Agile Project Manager certificate.
In this course, you must pass 3 project tasks and 3 automated online tests in order to receive the certificate.
