WPI Curriculum Module: General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)
The GDPR is a comprehensive EU law on data protection and privacy. While primarily applicable within the EU, its influence extends globally, setting a high standard for data privacy practices. This module provides a deep understanding of GDPR principles, including data subject rights, data protection by design, and impact assessments. You'll learn to identify and mitigate data protection risks, implement effective policies and procedures, and respond to data breaches. After completing this module, you'll be able to:
