Certified AI Assistant
A sound understanding of artificial intelligence is the key competence required to help shape the transformation of your own working environment in a safe and responsible manner. This certification provides you with the knowledge you need to take advantage of the opportunities offered by AI while effectively minimizing the associated risks. It also serves as proof of professional qualification in dealing with AI systems, as explicitly required by the EU AI Act in Chapter 1, Article 4.
Upon completion of this certification, you will be able to:
develop a sound understanding of the basics and types of AI in order to assess its potential and limitations in everyday professional life
understand the essential requirements of the EU AI Act, in particular the risk-based approach and the need for human oversight
Identify and assess fundamental legal and ethical risks in AI use, including discrimination, transparency issues, and copyright infringement
apply a checklist for the safe use of AI, understand your own role as a critical user, and actively contribute to the responsible use of AI systems within your company
The following modules of the WPI curriculum are required for this certification:
Acquire crucial AI expertise. In this module, you will learn how to assess potential and risks and how to confidently apply the legal requirements of the EU AI Act, data protection, and copyright law.
Certification as an AI Assistant is the first level in the three-level certification process to become an AI Manager. It is mandatory for the two subsequent certifications.
The modules Governing AI and Leading with AI can also be taken individually at many of our education partners in order to achieve the next level of certification.
