Certified AI Manager
In this three-stage certification, you will develop from a competent user to a strategic AI manager. You will acquire the necessary knowledge to not only understand artificial intelligence from a technological perspective, but also to anchor it securely, legally compliant, and profitably in your company as a key value driver. You will learn to bridge the gap between innovation, law, and strategy, and in doing so, you will receive official certification of your professional qualification in dealing with AI systems in accordance with the EU AI Act (Chapter 1, Article 4).
After completing this certification, you will be able to:
Develop and scale a value-oriented AI strategy. You will link AI initiatives directly to your business goals, create strategic roadmaps, and validate the economic viability of projects through well-founded business cases (ROI, TCO) and feasibility analyses.
Establish robust governance frameworks and compliance. You will implement structures to comply with the EU AI Act, GDPR, and copyright law, proactively manage risks, and ensure that AI systems are used ethically, transparently, and under human supervision.
Professionalize organizational structures and processes. You transition AI from experimentation to stable regular operation by establishing scalable units such as a "Center of Excellence" (CoE) and introducing standards for operation (MLOps).
Lead cultural change and competence building. You actively shape the transformation as a change leader, break down reservations, and secure the future viability of your company through targeted talent strategies and upskilling programs.
The following modules of the WPI curriculum are required for this certification:
Acquire crucial AI expertise. In this module, you will learn how to assess potential and risks and how to confidently apply the legal requirements of the EU AI Act, data protection, and copyright law.
Become a trusted AI officer. In this class, you will learn the strategic and practical methods for implementing AI governance and leveraging compliance with the EU AI Act as a strategic competitive advantage.
In this module, you will learn how to design a value-driven AI strategy, calculate robust business cases, and successfully manage the transformation of your organization through scaling and cultural change.
The AI Manager certification consists of three modules. The first module concludes with certification as an AI Assistant. After the second module, you will receive the AI Officer certificate, and after the third module, the AI Manager certificate.
